About Sunny Soccer Skills Academy

The Sunny Soccer Skills Academy is the brainchild of ex-professional soccer player Sunday (“Sunny”) Stephen.

Sunny brings over 15years + experience as an professional soccer player who has played across the board with clubs like Valencia CF, CA Osasuna, Real Betis Balompié, CD Numancia, Real Salt Lake among others, as well as in the U-20 World Cup with Spain, and in the UEFA Champions League.

Now he is passing this amazing experience as a pro to the younger generation.

Sunny’s philosophy for developing soccer players is directly linked to the player he was on the field. As he puts it,

“As professional soccer player, I challenged the status quo, forcing coaching staff to make tough decisions and fore players to perform at a higher level. And, as a quality player I strived to contribute right away to any team I joined. I was always really active, physically adept and technically sound. I was known to cover a lot of space and to add quality to my position.

As coach, I now work hard to bring those qualities out in my students to elevate their game with “pro” insight”.

Today, the Sunny Soccer Skills Academy includes soccer coaching services ranging from exclusive 1v1 soccer mentorship with Sunny to group sessions with other elite athletes in the DFW metroplex.
